Who processes your data

The data controller is Findred Inc., the company operating the Findred — Kindred Spirits platform and the domains findred.org, findred.net, findred.app and findred.it.

What we collect

• Sign-up data: chosen name, full name, email address, encrypted password.
• Soul profile: bio, interests, city, optional real profile photo.
• Identity documents: uploaded only if you choose to verify, stored in private storage and accessible only to the verification team.
• Text messages exchanged in conversations.
• Safety events generated by our automated checks (keywords and AI).
• Minimal technical data: country of connection, device type, pages visited.

Video calls

Video calls are peer-to-peer (WebRTC) and are never recorded or stored. The AI guard analyses speech transcription in real time on your own device to warn you about suspicious requests; the transcript is never saved.

Why we process data

• To let you access and use the service (performance of the contract).
• To protect the community from bots, fake profiles and scams (legitimate interest).
• To verify the identity of members accessing real photos and video calls.

Who can see what

Profile photos are visible only to identity-verified members; everyone else sees a symbolic avatar. Conversations are visible only to the two users interacting.

Retention

We keep data while your account is active. Documents used for identity verification are deleted within 12 months after the verification is completed. You can delete your account at any time.

Your rights

You may access, correct, export or delete your data and object to certain processing by writing to privacy@findred.org. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

Findred is for adults only.
